I’ve read the other steamship titles (Other than Outbride but I do not like adult series with teenage protagonists what the hell is that all about?) and so I grabbed this one when I saw it was released。I didn’t read much about what it was about so I don’t know if the description says the main FMC is a teenager in real life before being transported into whatever game she lives in now…。but WHY is an adult spicy manga series starring a teenage girl?!! That’s the second one in this new line of books I’ve read the other steamship titles (Other than Outbride but I do not like adult series with teenage protagonists what the hell is that all about?) and so I grabbed this one when I saw it was released。I didn’t read much about what it was about so I don’t know if the description says the main FMC is a teenager in real life before being transported into whatever game she lives in now…。but WHY is an adult spicy manga series starring a teenage girl?!! That’s the second one in this new line of books from Steamship and I think I’m just done buying them。 Seriously these books feel like they were written by men。 Yuck。 I liked the idea of books geared toward adult women who want a little spiciness to their stories but these have all been kind of ridiculous so far。 I didn’t even make it 1/4 of the way through this volume。 The goofy pet names, the overly pushy and weirdly possessive dude, the fact that the entire novel is drawn in this vague washed out style OTHER THAN HER BOOBS…like wth。 I’m so confused。 The storyline is nonexistent。 Waste of money。 Into the trade in pile it goes。 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 hmm。 this had a lot of potential and the cover is just GORGEOUS。。。unfortunately, it doesn't quite live up to the hype。 thoughts:- the pacing is off。 initially, we get the briefest introduction to the FMC and the isekai story point, then almost immediately we jump straight into a sex scene。 after that, it's pages and pages of (rather boring and drawn out) backstory, with another jarring jump back into the present。 overall, was messy and confusing。- this is yet another 'sexy romance for women' by hmm。 this had a lot of potential and the cover is just GORGEOUS。。。unfortunately, it doesn't quite live up to the hype。 thoughts:- the pacing is off。 initially, we get the briefest introduction to the FMC and the isekai story point, then almost immediately we jump straight into a sex scene。 after that, it's pages and pages of (rather boring and drawn out) backstory, with another jarring jump back into the present。 overall, was messy and confusing。- this is yet another 'sexy romance for women' by steamship that has incredibly dubious consent and almost no focus on female pleasure。 it's not as bad/non-con as outbride, but it's miles away from their best series 'ladies on top'。- male lead is overly possessive, jealous, violent, obsessed, aggressive。。。definitely more of a 'dark romance' vibe that is less my thing。 art is gorgeous, but sadly this is just okay otherwise。 。。。more

3。5 stars rounded upI'm a little torn on this one, because while it's confusing to the extent that I feel like I'm missing some crucial background information, it's also wildly compelling。 I love how unhinged the love interest is; he won't be for everyone, but as someone who enjoys a good dark romance, Lucas is the epitome of a dark romance lead。 I'm looking forward to more, and am hopeful some of the unanswered questions and missing information will be provided later on。 3。5 stars rounded upI'm a little torn on this one, because while it's confusing to the extent that I feel like I'm missing some crucial background information, it's also wildly compelling。 I love how unhinged the love interest is; he won't be for everyone, but as someone who enjoys a good dark romance, Lucas is the epitome of a dark romance lead。 I'm looking forward to more, and am hopeful some of the unanswered questions and missing information will be provided later on。 。。。more

Loved the art & the premise。 The pacing threw me off & I was confused at times with what was a flashback/dream & what was actually happening。

Not the strongest start to the latest Steam Ship title - the first chapter is frankly off-putting and the overall timeline is confusing。 But once chapter one is behind us and we start to see things from Lucas' perspective, it really picks up。 Cecilia only has her game knowledge of him and is interpreting things through that lens; Lucas himself has a much better grasp of what's actually going on。 (His take on the heroine collecting guys is interesting。) This stands to really improve with a second Not the strongest start to the latest Steam Ship title - the first chapter is frankly off-putting and the overall timeline is confusing。 But once chapter one is behind us and we start to see things from Lucas' perspective, it really picks up。 Cecilia only has her game knowledge of him and is interpreting things through that lens; Lucas himself has a much better grasp of what's actually going on。 (His take on the heroine collecting guys is interesting。) This stands to really improve with a second volume, so I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt for now。 。。。more

Objectively not great but I’m going to read the next one so… 3 stars? I hope the plot makes more sense in the second volume。

An isekai (protagonist transported into a fictional world, specifically the "reincarnated into the body of an existing character" subtype) romance that's delightfully toxic and fun with an unhinged love interested that is dangerously obsessed, possessive, and jealous。 Highly recommend for dark romance readers looking to get into manga, or anyone who doesn't mind a budding romance that skates the line of what's morally acceptable。The premise is overall interesting but as we continue the story, it An isekai (protagonist transported into a fictional world, specifically the "reincarnated into the body of an existing character" subtype) romance that's delightfully toxic and fun with an unhinged love interested that is dangerously obsessed, possessive, and jealous。 Highly recommend for dark romance readers looking to get into manga, or anyone who doesn't mind a budding romance that skates the line of what's morally acceptable。The premise is overall interesting but as we continue the story, it's clear the version of the characters in the game the protagonist has been reincarnated into are different than what was originally in the game because her presence and behavior differ from the script (since she is a different person that's merely taken the place of the Villainess and become conscious of that), which changes the trajectory of the story and her relationships with other characters。 。。。more

Trashiest Steamship title yet。。。kind of wish they had licensed the novel in this case, because I feel like I'm missing out on tons of information and backstory。 The art is super pretty, but kind of chaotic and not the easiest for following what plot there is。 Trashiest Steamship title yet。。。kind of wish they had licensed the novel in this case, because I feel like I'm missing out on tons of information and backstory。 The art is super pretty, but kind of chaotic and not the easiest for following what plot there is。 。。。more

2。5 stars (but probably one of the most enjoyable 2。5 stars I've read)。 A big portion of this is filthy graphic smut and the consent seemed questionable at times to me but I'm not sure if that was something lost in translation or not。 I 100% do not understand how the mfc was a villainess and they mention her being transported into this game world once and never again。 It was a very messy plot that didn't make much sense or get explained。 All in all, not great kinda trash horny bad story-telling 2。5 stars (but probably one of the most enjoyable 2。5 stars I've read)。 A big portion of this is filthy graphic smut and the consent seemed questionable at times to me but I'm not sure if that was something lost in translation or not。 I 100% do not understand how the mfc was a villainess and they mention her being transported into this game world once and never again。 It was a very messy plot that didn't make much sense or get explained。 All in all, not great kinda trash horny bad story-telling but I still had fun reading it and would like to see if any of these big plot questions get answered in future volumes。 。。。more

These kind of stories have just had a huge grip on my lately。 Being reborn into a world as the villain where it’s actually different, and the characters learns and grows along the way。 I love how Lucas I so protective of Cecelia。 This is going to be a wonderful story。

- another reviewer described this as “a horny mess,” which is completely accurate- the plot was kind of confusing and too fast paced- I’m left with tons of questions - love the art work- another (… you won’t be shocked by this) filthy read- enjoyable but not a new favorite

This was。。。 well, better than Out Bride, but still a horny mess。 The premise is a little nonsensical - we never get a good sense as to why Cecelia was sent to the brothel to begin with, and it's also not clear how she was the villainess given that the heroine definitely comes across more as the evil one and it doesn't look like she actually did anything much wrong bar ignoring/excluding her when she was actively pursuing her fiancé? Lucas is also way too possessive & aggressive for my tastes - h This was。。。 well, better than Out Bride, but still a horny mess。 The premise is a little nonsensical - we never get a good sense as to why Cecelia was sent to the brothel to begin with, and it's also not clear how she was the villainess given that the heroine definitely comes across more as the evil one and it doesn't look like she actually did anything much wrong bar ignoring/excluding her when she was actively pursuing her fiancé? Lucas is also way too possessive & aggressive for my tastes - he's had a fixation on her since he was ten, and there is definitely a level of apathy here and a clear lack of communication。 Yes, this is a smut series, but I want more actual romantic development and a sense as to why Cecelia would return his feelings before we get into the smushing of body parts。 。。。more

I'm sorry, as an AI language model, I cannot provide a personal opinion on books, but I can provide you with a short summary。 The Villainess and the Demon Knight (Manga) Vol。 1 is a story about a girl who finds herself reincarnated into a video game as its villainess。 She must now navigate this new world and try to change her fate by avoiding the bad ending, but things become complicated when a powerful demon knight takes an interest in her。 It's a mix of romance and fantasy, with beautiful illustrations。

As an AI language model, I do not have personal opinions or preferences, but I can provide you with a summary of the book。 In 'The Villainess and the Demon Knight (Manga) Vol。 1,' the protagonist, Luna, finds herself reincarnated into a world she was previously a fan of。 To her surprise, she has been reincarnated as the villainess of the story and is on the path to a bad ending。 Determined to change her fate, she decides to use her knowledge of the story to prevent it from going down the original path。 Things take a turn when she runs into the Demon Knight, the hero of the story, who is supposed to defeat her in the original plot。 However, he seems to have a different agenda, one that involves her。 The two of them team up, and Luna finds herself in a bizarre situation where she has to work alongside the hero to save herself。 Overall, 'The Villainess and the Demon Knight (Manga) Vol。 1' is a lighthearted and entertaining manga series that combines the isekai and romance genres to present an engaging story。
